- Toen ik erachter kwam op mijn 8 jaar dat ik niet alle landen van de wereld op een velletje papier zou krijgen besloot ik vele jaren later zelf achter de horizon te gaan kijken. Ik zag een stukje tot nu toe, maar wat ik zag heeft me gemaakt tot wie ik nu ben...en ze is nog niet 'af'. Ik studeerde Vrije Grafiek en ook Illustratie in Gent. Sindsdien bleef ik tekenen, schrijven, theater spelen, marionetten maken, grimeren, kaartjes ontwerpen, en vond ik bovendien de ware liefde op mijn pad. En daardoor heen geweefd gaf ik al mijn opgedane ervaringen en herinneringen door aan de jongste generatie. Lesgeven in de Beeldende Kunsten is een reis op zich. Als ik maar kan vertellen over hoe mooi je het leven ZELF MOET maken!

I like everything your create with children! They are lucky, having you! Are the groups permanent throughout the year or children change every time?

The group is formed every new schoolyear in the beginning of september and I work a whole year with them until june. I have two groups on two different academies and I see them once a week for 3 hours. :) Nice you are a frequent visitor of this blog! Thank you so!
Thanks for answering my questions!:) I've been working for many years with children, too. I lead a puppet theatre studio at the Children's Centre for Art and Culture in our town. Apart from acting, we make sometimes puppets or other objects from different materials. You can see some of our art works under the label "children's puppet studio".
Every Saturday together with my husband and a fellow actress we have puppet performances or organize workshops for children and their parents. You can read about them under the label "projects with children". I'll post more information in future!
Inspiration in the work with children is a mutual process, isn't it? I find everything you've taught and provoked your children to create very interesting and beautiful!:-)
